GHG Report
Constellation wants to help their customers recognize ways in which they can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. The goal of this project was to craft a marketing experience flow that would raise awareness to the issue and provide opportunities for their customers to move towards a more sustainable future.
Deliverables:
Customer Journey Flow
Wireframes
High Fidelity Prototype
Blueprinting the Sustainability Report Experience
Research and Benchmarks
Research consisted of an analysis of competitors and other dashboards to establish a sense for what type of information will be beneficial for customers and move them towards action after reading their report.
Mapping User Flows
A user flow was mapped out that would encompass multiple touchpoints and well-placed call to actions with the aim of a conversion in the form of a call with our sales managers at Constellation.
Establish Content Hierarchy
At this point, it was important to consider how to structure the content as there would be an initial report and later on a follow up report with more details pertinent to their specific company.
Wireframes
Wireframing out initial ideas to get an idea for how we wanted to visualize the main data points to make the meaningful for our customers. This was also an important step to be able to gain alignment from key stakeholders. See the initial wireframe here.
Design Process
High Fidelity Designs
I took over the project on my own at this point to design out the high fidelity version of the microsite. Our Constellation Design System is smaller scale, so I looked to build reusable components that we could add to the library for future use. Data Visualization
An important part of the page was how to make our data interactive and meaningful for our users. The high fidelity design needed to show where the personalized data could live and how it could be interacted with by users to make more meaningful connections. An understanding of the data that could be leveraged was important as well as how to display that data.
